From the very beginning, The Dorothy Ley Hospice has relied on a dedicated team of trained volunteers to help us provide services to the community.
Last year, over 280 volunteers provided more than 21,000 hours of their time helping those in need.
If you are looking to volunteer, consider becoming a volunteer at The Dorothy Ley Hospice.
With both short and long-term opportunities, we can find a place that matches your interests and availability. Whatever your preference, we will do our best to help you find a volunteer opportunity that suits your needs and skills from providing support in people’s homes and in our residence, food preparation, answering phones, gardening, to helping with fundraising and administration.
By volunteering your time, you’ll be helping others and making a difference during one of the most challenging times in their lives.
Our Volunteer Services Coordinator will be pleased to discuss available volunteering opportunities with you. Call us at (416) 626-0116 or by sending an e-mail.
