The Dorothy Ley Hospice offers the following services to meet the physical, emotional, spiritual and support needs of individuals, their families and their caregivers.

Community Support

More than 90 per cent of Canadians have said they would prefer to die at home. The Community Program at The Dorothy Ley Hospice was created to provide care and support enabling individuals to remain in their own homes for as long as possible.

Residential Care

The Dorothy Ley Hospice (DLH) Residential Program offers individuals living with a life-limiting illness with 24-hour, end-of-life residential care in a home-like environment during their last weeks of life.



To enhance the knowledge and skills of those involved in palliative care, The Dorothy Ley Hospice develops and coordinates a variety of educational programs for palliative care professionals and for members of the local community.
